This past year the Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health released publications on a variety of topics related to girls’ and women’s health including a Special Issue book published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. This open-access publication, edited by Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health Senior Investigator, Dr. Lorraine Greaves, is a collection of 17 articles by international contributors and members of the Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health team. The special issue highlights the importance of integrating sex and gender into substance use research, policy, and practice through a variety of themes including intimate partner violence, parenting roles, technology-based interventions, and tailored treatment programs.
