CCSA: New campus alcohol harm reduction resources

The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction, in collaboration with the Substance Use and Health in Emerging Adulthood Lab at St. Francis Xavier University, is pleased to share new resources designed to strengthen post-secondary institutions’ efforts to reduce alcohol-related harms.

Through the campaign Your Drink. Your Call, campuses across the country will increase students’ awareness of Canada’s Guidance on Alcohol and Health and empower them to make informed choices about their alcohol consumption.

What’s included in the campaign package:

  • Dissemination Guide that includes practical guidance, ready-to-use tools and implementation tips to help local rollout and adaptation
  • Simple approaches to measure and evaluate a campaign’s reach, engagement and impact
  • Digital and print materials to support awareness and outreach efforts

These tools can help:

  • University and college campus administrators
  • Student life and student services teams
  • Harm-reduction practitioners and advocates

We encourage you to explore, use and share the Your Drink, Your Call campaign within your networks.
