Topic: Reducing Stigma: Writing and Talking About FASD
Description: The language we use and the ways in which we use it are important. Based on tenets of the Prevention Conversation and the CanFASD Common Messages guide, this webinar will present advice and guidance on how to discuss and write about FASD and alcohol use during pregnancy using a stigma-reducing and strength-based approach. Attendees of this webinar should leave with increased confidence in using language that will supplement their ability to effectively communicate about FASD and prenatal alcohol use in a way that will improve advocacy, awareness, and respect.
